This course provides training in different movement patterns and core engagement in conjunction with principles of healthy eating and a physical active life. Students will be able to adapt and transfer the movement in different contexts. (i.e. use of training equipment)
This 3-unit course aims for the refinement of the students’ practical
English. Specifically, it aims to improve their English language proficiency by
engaging them in listening, speaking, reading, writing, viewing and grammar
learning activities that are functional, communicative and relevant in their
real world encounters at home, in school, in the community and to their future
professional workplace locally and globally.

This course provides a reinforcement of basic accounting, within the context of business and business decisions. Students/Trainees obtain additional knowledge of the principles and concepts of accounting as well as their application that will enable them to appreciate the production of accounting data. Emphasis is placed on understanding the reasons underlying basic accounting concepts and providing Students/Trainees with an adequate background on the recording of transactions, their classifications and reporting functions of accounting in a service and trading concerns through the preparation of Statement of Financial Position , Income Statement, Statement of Changes in Equity, and Cash Flow Statement. Exposure through the use of practice sets, either manual or computerized system in recording and reporting transactions for service and trading firm is a requirement in this course. Towards the end of the course covering financial statements for corporation, there must be an introduction to regulatory reporting in the Philippines for Corporations which will be discussed in detailed at Regulatory Framework and Legal Issues in Business.

The course is
pursuant to Republic Act No. 9163, otherwise known as the National Service
Training Act of 2001, which mandates higher education institutions to integrate
in the curriculum a program aimed at “enhancing civic consciousness and defense
preparedness of the youth by developing the ethics of service and patriotism
while undergoing training in any of its three (3) program components, namely
Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS), Literacy Training Service (LTS) and
Reserved Officers Training Course (ROTC).”

This course deals with nature of mathematics, appreciation of its practical, intellectual, and aesthetic dimensions, and application of mathematical tools in daily life.
The course begins with an introduction to the nature of mathematics as an exploration of patterns (in nature and the environment) as an application of inductive and deductive reasoning. By exploring these topics, students are encouraged to go beyond the typical understanding of mathematics as merely a set of formulas but as a source of aesthetics in patterns of nature, for example, and a rich language in itself (and of science) governed by logic and reasoning.
The course then proceeds to survey ways in which mathematics provides a tool for understanding and dealing with various aspects of present-day living, such as managing personal finances, making social choices, appreciating geometric designs, understanding codes used in data transmission and security, and dividing limited resources fairly. These aspects provides opportunities for actually doing mathematics in a broad range of exercises that bring out the various dimensions of mathematics as a way of knowing, and test the students understanding and capacity. course is designed to delve on the image building of a CSUan as it focuses on the realization of the
students’ roles in creating a better self-image as a human person and as a
future professional fitting enough to the civilized norms of the society.
Integral to this is an advocacy on gender and development. This course presents
the basic courtesy and manners, the CSUan identity and the CSUan AURA
(Authority, Responsibility and Accountability).
